small arms ww2

Small Arms Ww2 - The Scandinavian countries declared themselves neutral, but Norway and Denmark were invaded by Germany. By choice of the king, Denmark offered little to no resistance in order to avoid unnecessary bloodshed due to the intemperance of forces on the battlefield. Initially, the Germans granted the country limited political autonomy. Norway opposed the invasion and an Anglo-French Expeditionary Force was sent to support it, but eventually the German forces withdrew and established their own rule by installing a puppet government. Sweden managed to stay out of the war by taking part of the Norwegian army and police in exile.

The individual weapons of the Danish and Norwegian rifle armies are approximately the same as shown in the figure, and the Danish Madsen light machine gun was also adopted by the Norwegian army.

The SMG Forsogstype af kapt and the Weibel LMG were experimental weapons not produced by the Danish army.

Weapons Of D Day

Sweden produced good weapons, including an assault rifle and an anti-tank rifle. The Kpist 45 submachine gun was produced immediately after the war and was also used by US Special Forces during the Vietnam War. The LMG kg m/40 was a Swedish version of the German Knorr-Bremse pistol used by the Waffen SS.

Pansarvarnsgevar looks like a very cheap anti-tank rifle, but at the same time looks very futuristic. The SF can sometimes be used as a futuristic cannon (minus the voltandler).
