With so many SIGs to choose from, I can see why the topic of P320 Compact vs P365 comes up so often. Both semi-auto assault-fire pistols start with a “P” which is the number in the 300s, both are designed for concealed carry, and both are available in 9mm.

The most noticeable difference between the two guns is the size. While SIG Sauer makes both rifles carry, they approach the issue differently.

The P365 is almost the size of a pocket pistol, and the P320 Compact is smaller than most duty pistols. The P320 Compact comes from the Glock 19 size compact firearm design school.

The P365 is 8 ounces lighter, nearly 2 inches shorter, and half an inch thinner. You can tell the difference between the two right away when you see them side by side. If it doesn't make a side-by-side comparison, it should be worn and worn. The P365 is more portable by nature.

The P320 compact is heavy to carry but easy to shoot. A large compact frame gives you more grip on the gun, and the more guns you carry, the better you can shoot. It also has the M1913 accessory rail, which is a major decision for many gun buyers today.

If you go the P365 route, you're stuck with 9mm, while the P320 Compact offers 9mm, 40 S&W and 357 SIG as caliber options.

The P320 Compact has a great Picatinny rail that lets you attach a light, laser, or training device. As a fan of rifle mounted lights, the rail is definitely a must.

The P365 has a proprietary rail that only fits certain accessories. Since the device is small, it can be equipped with a limited amount.

Which device to choose? I can't answer that question for you, but I can give you some questions to ask yourself.

If concealment is the highest priority, choose P365. From IWB to ankle carry, the P365 outshines the competition in comfort.

If photography is a high priority, choose the P320 Compact. Still easy to carry in a holster, this great gun offers a solid grip for large hands.

Don't use concealed carry? You'll probably have better luck with the more portable P365 Crossbreed Reckoning in a holster.

But if you're looking for a handgun that easily transitions from concealed carry to home defense, choose the P320 Compact.

The gun has proven to be an excellent weapon for self-defense! Both the SIG P320 Compact and SIG P365 are reliable, accurate and well made.

Sig Sauer P320: The Perfect 9mm Gun For Concealed Carry?

SIG Sauer P320 by SIG Sauer Inc. It is a modular semi-automatic pistol.

It is a further development of the SIG Sauer P250, using a striker mechanism instead of a double action hammer system. The P320 can be chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and 10mm Auto and easily converts from one caliber to another. Converting from .357 SIG to .40 S&W requires only a barrel change; Converting from 9mm to .357 SIG or .40 S&W and vice versa is done with a caliber conversion kit.

The P320 chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum was introduced to the North American market on January 15, 2014, followed by a .45 ACP compact model at SHOT Show in January 2015.

On January 19, 2017, it was announced that a custom version of the SIG Sauer P320 won the United States Army's XM17 Modular Handgun System competition. The full size model is known as the M17 and the compact carry size model is known as the M18.

The P320 was designed to be ambidextrous, with a retention lever on either side of the slide and a user-rotated magazine release, with all other controls operated from either side. The gun can be removed without tools. In addition, the gun can be removed without pulling the trigger, which is an additional safety feature to prevent the gun from falling.
